In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, as well as the 30th anniversary of the Man In Motion World Tour, the Rick Hansen Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a new program – Access4All. With support from the Government of Canada, the Foundation will grant a total of $1.7 million dollars to approximately 50 schools and community groups across Canada to complete “Barrier Buster projects” – infrastructure improvement projects and associated awareness building events in their communities. The aim is that Access4All will break down barriers in communities from coast to coast and create real and lasting impact for Canadians with disabilities. They also intend to build upon the Barrier Buster fund in the future so that all schools and communities across Canada will be fully inclusive and accessible.
